Dr. Lindsey Marxen PT, DPT
Dr. Marxen’s passion for physical therapy is rooted in her love of helping people and building meaningful connections with her patients.
She earned her degree in Athletic Training from West Chester University before going on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy at The University of Maryland, Baltimore. She began her career in an outpatient setting, specializing in orthopedic conditions and progressive neurologic disorders. She later expanded her clinical expertise at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, where she provided inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals with complex neurologic and orthopedic conditions. Her experience also includes treating pediatric patients in both outpatient and school-based settings, helping children and families achieve meaningful functional goals.
Dr. Marxen is passionate about creating individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that help patients improve mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. She values getting to know each patient and understanding what motivates them most—whether that means returning to a favorite sport, walking with greater confidence, reducing pain, or keeping up with their children or grandchildren. She believes the most meaningful progress happens when therapy is centered around each patient’s personal goals and strives to create a positive, supportive environment that empowers every patient throughout their rehabilitation journey.
